Terms and Conditions

Accepting this document means:

• having read and fully understood this Agreement.
• accepting the terms and conditions of use of the ZanZan Travel App for the use of its cloud, sharing and travel organization services.
• being aware that ZanZan Travel does not organize trips but only provides a utility App to organize personal trips and be able to share them with other users.
• being aware that ZanZan Travel does not manage user money, does not collect money, and does not earn from user trips, and that ZanZan Travel is totally alien to any payment between travelers and/or external services. The calculations made in-app for Shared Expenses and the Common Balance remain pure virtual mathematical calculation artifacts and the app (or its upstream developers) never materially comes into possession of or acts as an intermediary for the flows of that money, relieving itself of any burden of financial control.
• being aware that ZanZan Travel provides software infrastructure for travel management, including the calculation of personal and shared expenses, and hereby declines all responsibility for discrepancies arising from incorrect calculations imputed by users or from the failure to extinguish or refund debts between individuals. The inclusion of costs among group members remains a voluntary, fictitious and entirely self-managed act by the participants themselves without any real bank transaction on our part.
• being aware that the use of core features (Chat, Map, Cloud Saves) requires an active internet connection, therefore the provider is excluded from liability for failed synchronizations due to lack of network.
• assuming responsibility for any content shared during trips or in in-app communications, relieving the platform of damages that may derive from improper use of the software or from interaction with third parties met through the Community module.
• being aware that the App may have service interruptions, bugs or malfunctions due to lack of memory on the device, incompatibility with OS versions, or device software security interventions, and therefore to exclude ZanZan Travel from any liability regarding consequent data losses.

1. App License

The ZanZan Travel App, its source code and related graphics are protected by international copyright laws and treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws. The software (both mobile and any web counterparts) is licensed for exclusive personal use, and is not sold.

2. Grant and Limitations

ZanZan Travel grants the user a purely personal license to navigate and use copies of the software on their compatible devices. Reverse engineering, decompilation, disassembly or any modification for the purpose of distribution to third parties of our application is strictly prohibited.

3. Account and Security

As mentioned in the Privacy policy, authentication is provided pass-through via secure services such as Google ID and Apple ID. The user is responsible for protecting their device and preventing unauthorized persons from accessing the App without their knowledge by exploiting previously saved logins. The ZanZan Travel team will never be able to refund or restore data if the main underlying account is compromised.

4. Modifications and Future Versions

ZanZan Travel is currently provided as a free freeware formula. However, we formally reserve the right to implement future subscription logics (Premium) or In-App Purchases functionalities aimed at unlocking additional features for advanced travel management. Furthermore, ZanZan Travel may decide at any time to add new features or remove existing ones from the application.
ZanZan Travel will have the right to decide the prices of future services and to be able to change them by giving timely notice to users via email or system notifications.

5. Updates and Maintenance

The development team will regularly publish updates through the official stores (App Store, Google Play) that will resolve bugs or improve the user experience. It is the user's obligation to keep the most recent and secure version installed. ZanZan Travel also reserves the right to temporarily suspend the server services necessary for the app in order to proceed with scheduled maintenance.

6. Right of Ownership and Data Deletion

The user is at all times the owner of their master data. As established by the GDPR, it is possible to request total cancellation or export. Nevertheless, deleting your account will cause permanent disconnection or anonymization from all Groups and Trips to which the user has collaborated, resulting in the absolute loss of the possibility to view the expense ledger to their credit.

7. Governing Law

For any dispute arising from or deriving from the application of this contract that cannot be resolved amicably, the parties conventionally derogate exclusive jurisdiction in favor of the legislation and the court of Pesaro (Italy).
Any attempt to interrupt the server by third parties and acts of piracy will be prosecuted with the maximum vigor permitted by International Laws.
